Free ACT Practice Tests & Practice Question
The best practice materials are exams that come straight from the test maker, ACT Inc. Here are the 2 most recent, free ACT practice tests provided by ACT, Inc.
Please note that I integrate these 2 tests into my ACT Quick Prep course. Click here to learn about this uniquely powerful, 4 hour course.
*While there are other free ACT practice tests available, ACT Inc. generally only updates their free full-length practice tests every 2 years. These are the 2 most recent versions of the exam and are the only ones currently available that include accurate representations of current math, reading, and writing sections that students will encounter on test day.

Best ACT Prep Books
The best ACT prep materials will always be the ones that come directly from the makers of the ACT. The Official ACT Prep Guide is just that. However, sometimes you may find you need extra practice questions to supplement your ACT prep experience. As Kaplan has officially partnered with ACT Inc., I trust their materials over other publishers.
If you are considering preparing with my ACT Complete Package course, please note that we ship these books to you as a part of the course. Click here to learn more about how stress-free a full ACT prep course can be.
*These are Amazon affiliate links. I receive a small portion of your purchase for referring you; however, you will not be charged more for your purchase. Thank you for your support!
Discover A Powerful ACT Prep Ally
After helping hundreds of students raise their ACT scores over the last 11 years, I know that no 2 students are the same. That said, there are 3 primary paths that each student can choose from when it comes to finding the best fit for ACT prep.
Which number below describes you?
1. The Solo Traveler
You're a determined lone wolf. Your practice ACT scores are already where you want your official ACT scores to be. A little solo brush up is all you need to reassure yourself that you can recreate your practice test magic on an official exam.
If this is you, use the ACT resources above for self-guided study that will take you where you want to go!
2. The Out-Of-Time, Kind-Of-Stressed-Out Student, or The Already-Prepped, Almost-There, Highly-Frustrated Student
Whether this is your first attempt, final attempt, or somewhere in between, you either don't have the time to fully prepare or are frustrated that past prep efforts don't seem to be moving the needle on your ACT scores.
Your ACT experience may be reinforcing a persistent story you've been struggling with that you're "just a bad test taker." Or your testing experience may be frustrating you because you know you should be scoring higher but can't figure out why you aren't.
If that's the case, a less is more approach is the way to avoid further overwhelm and start to see positive movement in your scores. If you have 4 hours to devote to preparation, I can teach you strategies you haven't learned before so you can take your ACT score to a level you'll finally be happy with.
I've helped students stuck with repeated 18s move their score to a 22. I've helped students in the high 20s jump into the 30s.
Far from a one-size-fits-all approach, my ACT Quick Prep course provides guidance that helps all students make their strengths shine and keeps their weak sections from sinking their score.
3. The I-Dotting, T-Crossing, Self-Motivated Go-Getter, or The I-Am-Scared-Of-The-ACT, Please-Help-Me-Find-My-Footing Diligent Worker
If either of the statements above describes you, then a full ACT prep experience is the best choice for you. Anything less will leave you wondering "did I do everything I possibly could have to prepare?"
Unfortunately, for students wired to be thorough workers or very anxious test-takers, that thought has a sneaky way of cropping up when you're at your most vulnerable: sitting at a desk taking an official exam and facing your first challenging question on test day.
Enter panic. Goodbye strong score.
To avoid such concerns on test day, you'll want to make sure you have the full view of the exam and plenty of practice so you can be as confident as possible on test day.
However, unlike many programs out there, the goal of my ACT Complete Package course isn't to cram in thousands of hours of practice questions. The key to truly stress-free, confidence-building success is a steady study pace through both the academic concepts that you need to do well on the exam and the score-specific strategies that will show you how to best ACT Inc. at its own game in each individual section.
Focused, intentional practice in bite-sized pieces is the Complete Package difference.
