Ever wondered – what is financial aid? It seems like a simple enough question, but the problem with that simple question is that the answer is fairly convoluted.
In this episode of The College Checklist Podcast, Jodi Okun and I discuss financial aid for college. Jodi has a passion for helping families obtain financial aid in a “non-fire alarm” way. She starts with understanding the family’s plan to pay for college and then she designs a plan specifically for them and works with them through the process.
Jodi explains different types of aid and goes into detail on work study aid. We also discuss Jodi’s Twitter chat #CollegeCash and how you can join in!
