Today’s episode of The College Checklist Podcast features an interview with Dr. Rachelle Wolosoff. In this interview, Rachelle shares the importance of networking for high school students as a part of the college admissions process.
By networking well, high school students can more readily identify schools that will be a good fit for them. Networking and connecting with experts in a student’s chosen field of study allows that student to have a focused, direct approach to his or her college experience and facilitates finding a job upon graduation.
Rachelle places an emphasis not only on getting into college but also on getting out of college – an aspect of the admissions process that is often overlooked. We’ll talk about how the connections students forge as they learn to network in high school can help them launch into their careers with far more savvy than their fellow students.
